Here’s what we are doing to safeguard our products and our customers:

We contract with ASI (American Sanitation Institute) for independent third party audits of our food safety practices. ASI is a nationally recognized leader in the food service inspection industry with over 70 years of experience.

ASI Audits thoroughly address Food Safety, Pest Control, Employee Practices, Facility Grounds, and Building Conditions.

Through ASI we have developed a Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points (HACCP) system. Originally developed by NASA, the HACCP system identifies all the points of potential hazard for food safety in advance, and develops safety procedures to control all of these critical points. All of our food handling employees receive HACCP training and participate in maintaining these controls.

Charlie's Produce has been recognized for "Superior Performance" by ASI, for three consecutive years with their highest, 'Excellent' rating for food safety.

We also undergo regular inspections by the Department of Agriculture and other government agencies.
